Roger Grange has traveled the globe working as a cinematographer for over twenty-five years. He has filmed hundreds of documentaries about subjects ranging from deep ocean volcanism to Valentine's day weddings in the Empire State Building. His work has taken him to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean in the submarine Alvin, into the ancient tombs of Egyptian pharaohs, and to the streets of Havana and Tehran. His documentaries have appeared on PBS, Discovery, TLC, Court TV, ABC News, The History Channel, the Food Network, BBC, and many others. He has worked for dozens of corporations, including IBM, AT&T, MetLife, Merck, Pfizer, JP Morgan Chase, Citibank, (Bovis) Lend-Lease and Cisco Systems, making videos for sales and promotion, education, and internal communication. He has also filmed numerous award-winning features and dramatic shorts. Roger recently filmed Tony Bennett with Lady Gaga for a PBS “Great Performances” production about the recording of Bennett's most recent duet CD. He also was director of photography for Barbra Streisand's platinum live performance DVD “One Night Only”. Roger received an Earthwatch Film Award for directing a PBS documentary about literacy in the state of Kerala, India.
